Outings

These add to the children’s enjoyment.  There are two major outings each year, during the summer and at Christmas, with a ratio of one adult to three children, and all parents and carers are encouraged to participate. 

We fundraise to keep the price as low as possible and is an opportunity for parents and carers to bring along other family members, make new friends and to have an enjoyable stress-free day.  Smaller, more regular trips also take place. For example, to the local shops or the park, and parents are informed in advance as to when and where they will be going.

Other playgroup outings and visits require carefully planned arrangements for transporting the children and at least two parents are required to accompany us.  If parents or carers are unable to attend but would like their child to enjoy the trips, have a word with the co-ordinator to make arrangements. Parents and carers who wish their children to participate, permission is requested on the Enrolment Form. If parents/carers wish their children not to go, please speak to the co-ordinator. A record of all outings is kept.
