Parental Involvement

We aim to encourage parent care involvement within the Under Fives as their involvement with the playgroup promotes continuity between home life and the playgroup. 

Key Worker

Your child will have a named key worker who will be available to discuss your child’s progress and share their observation records with you.

Whilst it is recognised that some parents work there are practical ways in which they can help out at home eg repairing dressing-up clothes etc.,

All parents/carers are encouraged to participate in special events, fundraising and outings, or generally share their own skills and interests.

Parents Meetings are held every 6-8 weeks to which all parents/carers are invited to attend to discuss and plan for fundraising, outings, ideas and special events. 

Management Committee

The management committe meets eight times per year on a Monday evening. Two parent reps are required to represent the playgroup and support group and are a link between the Under Five's and the Community Centre.
